    Here’s what I’ve also found about arguing, Donna (not that Chris and I argue a great deal). As you point out, they can go in one of two directions: either they can be destructive or constructive.

    All of us know what happens during the former. People we supposedly love with all our hearts are left feeling belittled, and the hurt we cause never goes away.

    In the case of the latter, however, I find–if done with respect–arguing takes relationships to a new level of depth and understanding. In other words, some arguing strengthens and grows what you share.

    Nicely done, Donna. And congrats on the recognition associated with your contribution to Ezine. It’s much deserved.
