Why you shouldn’t take yourself too seriously
It was the season of Lent four years ago when my then four-year-old niece Lainey used her charming innocence and candy corn (…yes, candy corn) to teach me an unforgettable lesson.
During this season of Lent, I encourage you to fast from worry and feast on contentment.
Fast from moving at the speed of light and feast on embracing the moment.
Fast from selfishness and feast on sharing.
Please press the PLAY button in the image below, and prepare to crack a smile (and not just because of the ridiculous freeze frame YouTube selected for this video!)…
You’re a great Aunt!! Lains loves her time with you too!!
Thank, Sissy. I love that kid!! xo
This story was just as cute and endearing the second time around. Love it! Oh yeah….the lesson is good to. Thanks! 🙂
Like déjà vu, right, Carrie? I love the way you love my stories with me. Thank you!
